LIHUE — Kevin and Sasha Celebrado of Lihue welcomed their third child, a daughter they named Keeva, Wednesday morning at the Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
“This is our first daughter,” Sasha said.
Kevin, a former soccer coach at Kauai High School, joked about Keeva needing to learn how to smile so she can be in the paper when she scores a lot of goals.
Born at 10:21 a.m., Keeva Annette Hiileimaikalani Celebrado is Kauai’s first New Year’s baby born at Wilcox.
“Do I get a year’s supply of diapers?” Kevin wanted to know, as a basket of celebratory gifts from the Wilcox Foundation graced a window sill.
Keeva weighed in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 18.75 inches long.
