Playing in the Kauai Soccer Association fall league games at the North Vidinha Stadium, the Keahi win log jams the standings with each team now sporting 2-2-1 records.
• Under 10 Girls
The Futsal Kauai A GU10 came close, but Seijia Makanani kept the Lihue Cougars GU10 team from its first loss with a goal, with the game ending in a 1-1 deadlock Sunday.
Hailey Overmyer scored the sole goal for Futsal Kauai A GU10.
Jasmine Semblante netted a hat trick, or three goals, and Kailey Ruiz netted two goals to lead Keahi GU10 to a 5-0 win over the Kalaheo Fire GU10.
Janae Motosue, Mia Matsunaga and Briannalynn Ehia netted goals in the Makani GU10’s 3-0 shutout over the Lihue Arsenal White GU10.
• Under 10 Boys
On the boys’ arena, Nahoa Davis and Kalei Kanehe each scored two goals to lead the NS Nation FC BU10 to a 5-0 shutout over the Lihue Arsenal BU9. Tupelo Lathrop added to the scoring.
The win preserves the NS Nation FC BU10 undefeated record at 5-0-0.
Cody Manibog and Tobey Troost each scored two goals to lead Makani BU10 to a 6-0 shutout over the Rush BU10, Kai Pappas getting a goal to complete the win.
• Under 12 Girls
Talia Washington scored all four goals in the Futsal Kauai GU12 4-0 shutout over the NS Nation FC GU12.
The win keeps Futsal Kauai GU12 in the driver’s seat at 4-0-1.
• Under 12 Boys
Benjamin Griep, Jonathan Hine and Mason Hunt scored goals to lead the Team Onipaa ’02 Boys BU12 to a 3-1 edge over Team Onipaa ’03 Boys BU11, who got a goal from Dwight Apao.
The win keeps the Team Onipaa ’02 Boys’ record intact at 4-0-0, Team Onipaa ’03 Boys dropping to 3-2 for second place in the standings.
Lucas Anakalea had the sole goal for NS Nation FC BU12 in its 1-0 edge over Keahi BU12.
• Under 14 Girls
Cheyann Fujii, Myla McKeague and Taelyn Nunes scored for Pohaku GU14 who upset the division-leader, Rush GU14, 3-0, dropping the Rush GU14 to 4-1 while Pohaku GU14 is undefeated at 3-0-1.
Vanessa Rubel got the sole goal as the NS Nation FC GU14 edged Team Onipaa GU14, 1-0.
• Under 14 Boys
Tutearii Tuturu netted four goals to lead the Rush North BU14 to an 8-0 shutout over the Team Onipaa ’00 Boys BU14 in the first of its doubleheader.
Gabriel Franklin, Joshua Layaoen, Kyle Leibow and Trevor Schaefer added goals in the victory which keeps the Rush North BU14 in the division lead with a perfect 5-0 record while Team Onipaa ’00 drops to 1-3.
The nightcap saw Samuel Johnson net four goals, Joshua Layaoen get a hat trick and Tutearii Tuturu getting two goals in the Rush North BU14’s 12-4 win over Team Onipaa ’00 Boys BU14.
Emiliano De La Mora, Andres Elzaurdia and Gabriel Franklin added goals for the Rush North BU14 while Andrew King led Team Onipaa ’00 BU14 with a hat trick and Chysen Lagunes-Rapozo getting a goal.
Lucas Anakalea, Levi Cummings, Ezekiel Anakalea and Sage Ioanna found the net for the NS Nation FC BU14 in its 5-1 win over Keahi BU14, Keahi getting its goal from Dodger Middlebrook.
• Under 16 Boys
Justin Franklin netted four goals, Tiernan Kehoe and Jesse Perez Cruz each scored two goals to lead the Rush North Blue BU16 to its 11-0 shut out over Keahi BU16 in the opener of a double-header.
Michael DeWitt, Davin Garma and Matthew Schmidt also scored in the opening win.
The second game went to the Rush North Blue BU16, 1-0 after Keahi BU16 forfeited.
• Under 18 Girls
Caitlyn Cantorna, Joni Hashizume and Kaylee Tamura scored goals to lead the Kauai Sparks GU18 to a 3-2 edge over the Rush GU18 who got goals from Madison Moore and Janae Souza.
The win keeps the Kauai Sparks GU18 in the lead with an undefeated 3-0 record while the Rush GU18 drops to 2-2.
Games in the KSA fall league continue on Sunday at the North Vidinha fields starting at 11 a.m.
