Marivic Mariano
Marivic “Mary” Daligcon Mariano of Kekaha, Kauai, Hawaii and resided in Lacey, Washington. She passed away on August 26, 2013 at the age of 31 at her residence in Lacey, Washington. She was born on August 20, 1982 in Waimea, Kauai. She was a preschool teacher for The Foundation Campos and Community Christian Pre School (CCA).
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gregorio Lorenzo Daligcon.
She is survived by her parents, Fernando Mariano and Gloria Daligcon Mariano; brothers, Ferdinand Mariano; James Mariano; Paul Mariano; grandmother, Victoria Daligcon; numerous Aunties, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Westside Christian Center in Kekaha. Family Viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m. Friends may visit with the family at 9:00 a.m. Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Burial to follow at the Kekaha Public Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa, Kauai.
Larry Stuefloten
Larry Stuefloten of Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on Sept. 2, 2013 at the age 75. He was born on November 11, 1937 in San Jose, California. He was a retired of San Jose Police Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Stuefloten; Children, Deborah (Rick) Westerlund; David Stuefloten; Kathryn (Jonathan) Paul; and grand-daughter, Ella Rose.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at the Pine Trees Beach/Park Hanalei. Service will begin at 11 a.m. No flowers and casual attire.
Donations could be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society in Larry’s name.
Flora Fujii
Flora Michie Fujii of Lihue passed away on September 26, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. She was born on June 20, 1925 in Lihue Kauai. She retired as an assistant personnel director with County of Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her father, Riuichi Fujii and mother, Shigeno Fujii.
She is survived by her two cousins from Hiroshima, Japan.
No monetary offerings.
