Sharron Weber is a Happy Camper because she correctly answered a question posed by Dickie Chang Friday at the Salvation Army Mahalo Luncheon. She won a free tire rotation and safety check (at Tire Warehouse, natch) for the correct response.
Eugene Jimenez didn’t have to carry the turkey in for the luncheon since everything was catered by Mark’s Place, and Chucky Boy Chock could not help but admire the Bueno Caliente chili pepper water made by Eugene.
Larry Rivera was focused on the meal since he didn’t have to play — Darryl Gonzales was doing a great job.
Hats off to Josie Pablo, Myra Ornellas and all those Mahelona Hospital people for a great job with the mahalo volunteer luau, which tied in with statehood celebration.
Elaine Morita was getting chicken skin listening to Micah Torio-Villuan render “Alika,” a tune made famous by the late Genoa Keawe.
With the luau out of the way, Josie is getting ready for the Kauai Farm Bureau Fair this Thursday.
