Kudos to Jolene Spence and the Garden Island Trollers on a great fishing tournament with weigh-in between passing showers Saturday! Hats off to all the winners, too!
The weigh-in was perfect entry into the First Saturday event where Juliet Kaohelaulii was told to get in the back room of Live It Up after tearing up while listening to violinist Kimberly McDonoguh render “Danny Boy” on her electric instrument.
Happy birthday to Juliet who celebrated her special day at the First Friday event at the Kukui Grove Center, where John Kaohelaulii was hosting his konane games, being joined by Jeni Kaohelaulii of Live It Up (she said her current window display is “Epic!” and the First Saturday is also “Epic!”).
Kenny Ishii was doing the dinner run all over the place, starting with the Pono Market hawaiian plate and then going up the street for even more goodies.
