Thomas Ching
Thomas “Tommy” Ching of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. Passed away on June 24, 2013 at the age of 65, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on June 11, 1948 in Lihue, Kauai. He was an avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Francis and Ruth Ching; brothers, Michael and William Ching.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Miner, Kauai; daughters, Malia (Julian) Delos Reyes, Kapahi; Candice Miner-Ching, Kauai; son, Thomas John Miner-Ching, Kauai; brother, Francis Ching Las Vegas; sister, Rowena Lowe, Oahu; Sheilah Ching, Koloa; grandchildren, Kyla Dean Oclit, Kapaa, Rhaynedel Ululani Oclit, Oahu; numerous Aunties, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013, at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow. Aloha attire is requested.

Elizabeth “Eli” Leilani Ahana Kikuchi of Lihue , Kauai, Hawaii. Passed away on July 1, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Born on March 14, 1941 in Lihue, Kauai. She was an Associate Professor for U.H. Hilo, Sole Proprietor for Eli’s Travel and Kamehameha Schools Alumnus ‘59.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Ah Sau and Mary Ahana; Sisters, Janice Shiets and Joyce Watanabe. She is survived by: Son, Kent (Lori) Kikuchi, Lihue; Daughter, Keri Keakealani Kobayashi, Lihue; Sister, Carol (Edwin) Kondo, Oahu; Grandchildren Kallen and Kadden Kobayashi, Kade and Heiley Kikuchi, Lihue and Aunt Hatsue Ahana. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday July 12, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Center, Lihue. Visitation from 4 P.M. Service and Celebration to follow till 8 p.m. Casual Attire is suggested and a Private burial will be held at a later date.

Steven Dinnan
Steven Joseph Dinnan of Kilauea passed away at home on June 20, 2013, at the age of 60. He was born in California on December 14, 1952, and was a well known master carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Concepcion “Ceppi” Dinnan; brothers, Raymond A. Dinnan and Albert M. Dinnan.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawna Dinnan, son, Steven Joseph Dinnan, both of Kilauea; brothers, Louis A (Valerie) Dinnan and Sean F. (Daphne) Dinnan both of Oahu; sister-in-law, Frances Dinnan of Anahola; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. A reception will be held 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Dinnan family with arrangements.
Virginia White Winters
Virginia White Winters of Lihue passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on July 2, 2013, at the age of 94. She was born in Whittier, California on February 2, 1919, and was a dedicated homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dana Scott Winters; daughter, Patricia Lee Bradbury; two granddaughters, Staci Lin Winters and Laura Bradbury.
She is survived by her son, Dale (Eileen) Winters of Kapaa; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack (Viola) McMichael of California; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Winters family with arrangements.
Hisashi Nakatsuka
Hisashi “Hisa” Nakatsuka of Koloa,Kauai, Hawaii. Passed away on June 26, 2013 at his residence at Regency of Puakea. Born on April 15, 1919 in Koloa, Kauai. He was a retired detective for Kauai Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Sueko “Sue” Nakatsuka; sons, Dr. Craig (Claire) Nakatsuka; Ellsworth (Claire) Nakatsuka; sister, Betty Kondo; brother, Mitsugi “Mits” (Violet) Nakatsuka; 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert Twiggs Jr.
Robert L. Twiggs Jr. of Kekaha, Kauai, Hawaii formerly from the state of Michigan. Passed away on June 26,2013 at his residence in Kekaha at the age of 45.Born on November 22,1967 in Grand Rapids,Michigan. He was a United States Government Contractor and formerly in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Farris. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Twiggs, Kekaha; daughter, Zakiya Twiggs, Kekaha; A’maya Twiggs,Kekaha; son, Cameron Twiggs, Kekaha; father, Robert “Bobby” Twiggs, Michigan; brothers, Stephen and Korey Twiggs, Missiouri; sisters, Vanessa Twiggs, Arizona; Shantel Twiggs, Nevada; Latorya Twiggs, Michigan; Precious Twiggs, Michigan; Mona (Mike) Christian, Georgia. Numerous Aunties and Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
