Daniel George Betsui of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on December 20, 2012 at his residence in Koloa at the age of 67. He was born on January 30, 1945 in Hanapepe, Kauai. He was a fireman for The County of Kauai.
He is survived by: son, Byron Betsui, Oahu; sister, Carol (Norman) Young, Kekaha; Numerous Aunts and Uncles and nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life on Saturday June 15, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa, visitation at 9:00 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m.

Edralin Pascual
Edralin Agustin Pascual of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii. Passed away at home on May 23, 2013 at the age of 87. Born on April 22, 1926 in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was retired from Mc Bryde Plantation.
Preceded in death by his wife, Leticia Pascual. He is survived by his sons, Rey Pascual, Koloa; Erwin Pascal, Koloa; daughter, Karen (Robert) Dall, Oahu; brother, Gerado Pascual, Iowa; sisters, Melendrina Cagampan, Esther Hernaez, Eufemnia Sebastian; and Loreta Corsino, Philippines. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Visitation at 10:15 a.m. and service at 11:15 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Koloa, Kauai.
Teruto Tsubota
Teruto “Terry” Tsubota of Okinawa passed away at Garden Isle Health Care hospice facility on May 22, 2013, at the age of 90.
He was born in Pahoa, Hawaii on July 28, 1922, and was a veteran of WWII, United States Army and served in the Okinawa Campaign. He retired from the U.S. Department of Defense in Okinawa after 46 years of government service.
Preceded in death by his sister, Sadako Yonemori and brother, Sadamu Tsubota, he is survived by his wife, Kiyoko Tsubota of Okinawa; daughter, Renee (Wil) Horie of Kaneohe; sons, Guy (Diane) Tsubota of Kilauea, Sid Tsubota of California; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister, Tatsuko Hayashikawa of Pahoa and brother, Katsushi (Haruko) Tsubota of Okinawa.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2 at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kauai Hospice.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home and Dodo Mortuary assisted the Tsubota family with arrangements.
