LIHU‘E – The County of Kaua‘i announced Thursday its next round of community outreach meetings with Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr.
Meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:
• Feb. 13 at Kekaha Neighborhood Center
• Feb. 19 at Hanapepe Neighborhood Center
• Feb. 26 at Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center
• Feb. 28 at Koloa Neighborhood Center
All meetings will include a report of islandwide and regional projects of interest.
Some of the islandwide topics that will be covered include an update on the new landfill location, customer service online surveys, the status of Coco Palms and an update on the Islandwide Road Resurfacing Project.
The mayor and his team will follow-up with a series of community outreach meetings at the Kilauea, Lihu‘e, Kalaheo and Waimea neighborhood centers in August.
