LIHU‘E — From Feb. 1 to April 15, AARP-trained and IRS-certified volunteers will be available at 11 locations to help seniors prepare their federal and state tax forms.
Last year, the program helped file nearly 18,000 state and federal returns, according to an AARP news release.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is a volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service available to low and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention to people age 60 and older. This service is free.
