Aqua is now Aqua Hospitality
LIHU’E — As part of a rebranding due to varied demographic profile and increased travel demand, Aqua properties has changed names to Aqua Hospitality.
Along with the transition, the company announced the creation of three different brands and operating systems under the Aqua Hospitality umbrella.
As part of the changes, The Aqua Kaua‘i Beach Resort will now be part of Aqua Hotels and Resorts, which offer “stylish, mid-priced hotels that present excellent value and lifestyle services rooted in Hawaii’s rich cultural traditions,” according to a statement, adding that savvy travelers will appreciate the convenient added services that make an Aqua Hotels and Resorts stay fun, convenient and positively practical.
In addition, the Kaua‘i Sands Hotel will now be part of the Lite Hotels group offering travelers “eclectic, economy hotels that appeal to budget-minded travelers.” According to Aqua, these guests seek the most bang for their buck and appreciate the fundamentals of service, convenience and cleanliness.
The chain will also offer the Monogram Hotel Collection, which includes an elite group of stand-alone and independent hotels and resorts providing highly personalized luxury experiences.
Each hotel has a distinct name and identity and is unique in personality, environment and design.
Aqua’s strategy of marketing its wide range of accommodations to travelers from all over the world has resulted in dramatically increased business from strong economies like China and Australia. The improving U.S. and Canadian economies are pushing Aqua’s occupancy and revenue numbers to new company highs.
The hotel group is driving these numbers even higher with an aggressive renovation program with over $55 million dollars in projects completed recently or slated for this year.
The creation of the three new operating divisions positions the company to deploy its highly successful methodologies across a wider portfolio of properties including opportunities on the U.S. Mainland.
