LAWA‘I — Registration is being accepted for people interested in participating in the garage sale at the Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage and Warehouse Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The garage sale benefits the Waimea High School Project Grad program and people interested in space can call the Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage office at 332-5929.
Located at 3470 Lauoho Road in Lawa‘i, the facility offers periodic “garage sales” with spaces being allocated based on availability.
Each sale has a community nonprofit beneficiary who receives the vendor registration fees as well as space provided by the Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage and Warehouse where they can vend their own items.
Previous beneficiaries from Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage sales include the St. Theresa School, Easter Seals of Hawai‘i, Toys for Tots, Special Olympics Kaua‘i and the Boys & Girls Club.
During the Lawa‘i Cannery sale in late November, more than 50 vendors, the largest number since the programs started in 2009, turned out to offer items for the holidays as well as clean their homes for holiday guests.
Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage and Warehouse office is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
Call 332-5929 to sign up for the Jan. 20 garage sale or for more information.
