Maria Martinez Ramos of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 21, 2012 at the age of 87 at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. Born on March 17, 1925 in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired laborer for Lihue Plantation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio and Maura Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Primitivo Ramos; sons, Reynaldo (Marjorie) Ramos, German (Milagrosa) Ramos, Samuel (Renee) Ramos, Crescencio (Becky) Ramos, Jerry (Emily) Ramos; daughter, Gladdy (Angel) Palaroan; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church, Lihue. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
