Peggy Lake did a great job talking about the Kaua‘i Community College Office of Continuing Education and Training course offerings with Jason Fujinaka … okay, so how do we get three extra hours out of the week?
Jason has been busy, visiting with Clarissa Chun and her solid bunch of Kaua‘i ‘ohana and then getting Peggy on the air.
Mahalo to Debbie Lindsey and Penny Vess for the hospitality when Clarissa visited Kaua‘i High School for a special assembly (Marissa Purcell did a great job with the banner and all those balloon decorations!), and Erik Knutzen of the KCC sustainability program was thrilled because he got to meet Clarissa at the principals’ meeting at the Department of Education office following the Kaua‘i High School assembly.
Officer Mark Ozaki is looking ahead, getting Chris Alcos (ranked No. 2 in his age group) to take a photo with Clarissa so when Chris makes the next Olympics, we’ll be ready!
Mahalo to Karen Alapai, Shar Iseri and the whole Kaua‘i ‘ohana for a truly memorable visit by the Olympic bronze medalist!
OK, ‘nuff said … it’s a long weekend — stay safe!
