MacDougall and Associates is once again partnering with Kaua‘i Community College Office of Continuing Education and Training to offer Leading Sustainable High Performing Teams, a training designed for current middle managers, supervisors and team leaders. Facilitated by 19-year Kaua‘i resident Roxanne MacDougall, the two-day workshop will be held May 23 and June 6 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Participants may be eligible for 50 percent tuition assistance through the Employment and Training Fund.
“In these times of turbulent, unprecedented challenges and change, it has never been more important that people are energized, enthusiastic, focused, resilient, flexible and authentically empowered.” said MacDougall. “There is now much focus on sustainability of food, energy and natural resources. Yet, there is an equal, but often overlooked, need to address individual, team and organizational sustainability. How do we nourish, energize and support people — our human natural resources? How to do we ensure that our organizations sustain and follow-through on visions, plans, projects, processes and decisions that are crucial to their survival and success?”
This workshop provides both education and inspiration based on the foundational philosophy, psychology, principles and practices essential to sustaining effectiveness, positive morale, productivity, customer service and employee retention — the keys to successful organizations. It assists participants in creating action plans for their learning and sustaining the positive impact for themselves and their teams.
Past participants have given the workshop high ratings, with comments such as “What I enjoyed most was the way the workshop information was presented. It was varied and always interesting. The skills I learned are invaluable for being an effective leader and team member.”
