Benjamin Alamani
Benjamin “Ben” Alamani, 63, of Salem, Ore., died on March 20, 2012, at the Salem Hospital. He was born in Waimea, Kaua‘i, and resided in Anahola until 1999. He was a retired craftsman.
He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Alamani; daughters, Becky (Henry Jr.) Kanoho and Cheri (Rawlin Kanoho) Alamani; grandchildren, Hana Kanoho, Henry Kanoho III, Raelyn Kanoho, Ben Kanoho, Darcie Kanoho, Anu Kanoho, Ikaika Kanoho and David Kanoho; sister, Jane Gray; and numerous other family members.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 21, at St. Catherine Church, with visitation from 9 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m.

Roman Hubbell
Roman Dana Hubbell of Kapa‘a died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 15, 2012, at the age of 59. He was born in San Bernardino, Calif., on Nov. 29, 1952, and was self-employed as a master potter.
He is survived by two sons, Jonathon Hubbell and Jeremy Hubbell.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, April 15, at Kealia Beach (pavilion close to river) from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Casual attire suggested.
