Shark Captured on film

The Kaua‘i County Fire Department on Wednesday reopened two North Shore beaches — Hae‘ena and Ke‘e —  that had been closed Tuesday due to dangerous surf conditions.

The department’s Ocean Safety Bureau lifeguards, who had reported a shark sighting Tuesday morning off Ha‘ena Beach, said no more shark sightings were reported, “making the water safe for swimmers,” according to a department news release.
