LIHU‘E —The Charter Review Commission has scheduled a special meeting to discuss whether the Kaua‘i County Charter needs clarification as to the mayor’s authority over commission-appointed department heads.
The meeting will be held on at 4 p.m. April 2 in Rooms 2A and B at the Lihu‘e Civic Center in the Mo‘ikeha Building in Lihu‘e.
The public is invited to provide their perspective on this matter, the county states in a news release.
