Kapa‘a girls finish 4th at state

The Kapa‘a High School girls soccer team, earning its place at the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts state championship tournament via a play-in game against Pac-Five for the Division II berth, are shown following one of its games at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on O‘ahu during the tournament that ended Saturday. Rachel Hinkel, the team’s forward, earned a spot on the Division II All-Tournament team, along with Kaua‘i High School midfielder Jannin Hashizume. Kapa‘a finished fourth in the tournament after falling to Kaua‘i High School in a battle for third place.
