Local author Jill Marie Landis will sign copies of her book from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Tahiti Nui in Hanalei, according to a press release. She will be signing copies of “Mai Tai One On,” the first book in her Tiki Goddess Mystery series.
Landis has written more than 25 contemporary, historical and inspirational novels, the release states.
“Set on the North Shore of Kaua‘i and centered around the fictional Tiki Goddess Bar, the story opens when an obnoxious neighbor with a grudge is found dead in the lu‘au pit and suspicion falls on the staff,” the release states. “With the help of a quirky group of over the hill Hula Maidens, the hilarious cast of characters must band together to find the killer and solve the mystery before their next pupu party.”
The signing, which will feature spontaneous hula, kanikapila style music and mayhem, is open to the public and books will be available.
