LIHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding two runaways.
Amber Leilani Williams, age 15, and Sarah K. Oyama, age 16, have both been missing since Oct. 12, a county news release states. They were last seen when they were being dropped off at Kaua’i High School.
The teens were to return home by bus that day but have not been in contact with their family since then. They are believed to be together.
Williams is of Caucasian descent, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds. She has blue eyes and blond or strawberry hair, a fair complexion and a medium build.
She was wearing a black Kaua’i High School T-shirt with white lettering, purple jeans and was carrying a white Hello Kitty shoulder bag.
Oyama is of Japanese descent, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair, and a tan complexion.
