Woman missing

LIHU‘E — The Kaua’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a missing woman.

Mary Ester Reeves, 70, was dropped off at Hilo International Airport on Sunday. She was last seen later that afternoon on Kaua’i, when she rented a silver Mazda 3, four-door sedan, license plate KAE 823.

Reeves’ family is concerned for her welfare and police are now trying to locate her and the vehicle.

Reeves is of Caucasian descent, five feet seven inches tall and weighs roughly 150 pounds. She has hazel eyes, short red or auburn hair, a medium build and a fair complexion.

Anyone with information about Reeves or her car is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 241-1711, Investigative Services Bureau, 241-1696 or Crime Stoppers, 241-1887.
