Name: Harvey and Lori Morgan
Hometown: Paso Robles, Calif.
In 2010, after almost 32 years of marriage, Harvey and Lori Morgan renewed their vows in Kaua‘i at Moloa‘a Bay in front of a beach house Lori has been coming to for more than 10 years. She took a picture of her and her husband’s wedding lei and took it to Cory Alameda at Kapu Tattoo in Kapa‘a.
“As you can see he did a great jobs of transforming a picture into a beautiful reminder of our vow renewal,” Lori said.
In June 2011, the duo returned Kaua’i for their vacation and again looked up Cory so he could add to last year’s work. Harvey added a koi fish to his arm and since Lori loves the flowers that grow along Moloa‘a Road, Cory added torch ginger, anthurium and plumeria to her ‘wedding leis.’
Out of all the tattoos Lori has, she says the ones she has gotten on Kaua‘i are closest to her heart, and they remind her of vacations here with her family.
