LIHU‘E — Have you ever noticed you can get your local news on the go with The Garden Island’s webpage for mobiles?
Web browsing statistics for the month of May show almost 10,000 readers got their TGI news from a mobile phone browser.
To make mobile news access easier, more in-depth and more interactive than ever before, TGI has launched a free iPhone news application. With one tap of the TGI icon on your mobile desktop, you are connected to Kaua‘i’s only local daily news provider.
You will find all of TGI’s in-depth reporting, analysis and commentary, along with interactive photo galleries, videos and more. You can save your favorite stories for offline browsing and share stories, photos and video with friends and family by email via Facebook and Twitter.
Browsing entertainment listings, local sports coverage, weather, columnists and breaking news is now made simple. Plus, you can share your thoughts by commenting on stories.
“One more way to access Kaua‘i’s only community newspaper, The Garden Island, Your Community Newspaper,” said TGI Publisher Randy Kozerski.
