Paul “Pauly” Henry Kaiwi of Anahola, Kaua‘i passed away on May 21, 2011 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 66. Born on the island of O‘ahu on Sept. 1, 1944 he was a heavy equipment operator and a Paniolo.
He is survived by his daughter, Naomi Kaiwi and numerous extended family members.
Celebration of life is pending.

Tadao Nishio of Kapa‘a died at Garden Isle HealthCare on May 20, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Kilauea on July 20, 1915, he was a Research Analyst Technician with Hawaiian Cannery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shinako Nishio and brothers Tamotsu and Yoshito Nishio.
He is survived by his brother, Kelly Nishio of Honolulu; sisters, Kay Hasegawa and Flora Umehara both of Honolulu; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Kapa‘a Hongwanji Mission; service will be at 10:30 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested.
