LIHU‘E — Calling all job seekers.
Kaua‘i Community College is hosting its Spring 2011 Job Fair today from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at the college’s One Stop Center.
“We have forty some employers participating,” said Workwise Workforce Development coordinator J. Kaeo Bradford. “It’s the largest groups of companies in the community we’ve ever had participating, and it’s one of our largest efforts to help people connect with jobs.”
Participants include hotels, banks, healthcare services providers, retailers, seed companies, food and beverage companies and the police department. AmeriCorps and JobCorps will also be onsite for college students ages 18 to 24.
So dress professionally, says Workwise, bring copies of your resume and be prepared to network with local employers. Admission is free.
