The “Kalihiwai Creamcicle” is one of those delicious smoothies, fitting the taste buds of those who are looking for a sweet and healthy snack.
Body healer Kali Maya loves to get her dose of natural foods all packed into one delicious smoothie.
Kali has been to so many places that she has a hard time saying where she is originally from. She said she spent so much time in Australia, though, that if she had to pick a place she would say that she’s an Aussie.
It was driving Down Under that she came across a hitchhiker who told her about Kaua‘i. They started a friendship, and about a year ago Kali moved to the Garden Island.
In her wanderings throughout the world, Kali taught yoga in Indonesia and other places in Asia. She is now taking a teacher-training class so she can teach yoga here.
The Coconut Cup is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located on the side of the highway in Kapa‘a, attached to the Coral Reef Hotel.
