Wrestling for Westside youth between the ages of 9 to 17, or 18, if still in high school, is now available, the Kaua‘i Police Activities League announced, Monday.
Classes are being held at the Waimea Baptist Church on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 7:30 p.m.
K-PAL said an earlier class for younger children can be started if there is sufficient interest.
Interested individuals, both boys and girls, are invited to drop in at the Waimea Baptist Church on practice nights to register for the program.
Cost for each activity is $20 for the year.
Scholarships are being offered for those youths who demonstrate financial need, the county release states.
