The Kolohe Boys recently won the Makakilo Kapolei Youth Baseball League tournament as they headed to O‘ahu and captured the Pinto Division crown. Team members included Dawson Kalapaca, Jeyven Orial, Jaistin Medeiros, Brandson Hirokane, Davin Simao, Tryten Pongasi, Sean Mullikin, Jozaiah Sarmiento, Chasen Tumamao, Keenan Texeira, Ethan Inanod, Rickey Kaimalu Ralston and “mascot” Connor Mullikin. Team coaches Santo Agustin, David Kalapaca, James and Analisa Kong and Brad Sarmiento send mahalos to the sponsors who made the trip memorable: Ohana Motors, Dr. C. Netzer, Dr. Braun, Mel Delacruz, Richard Abigania, D&W Services, Lihu‘e Pharmacy and all the team parents.
