Colleen McCracken said Kryptonite might’ve lost its game against the Bulls, Sunday, but the team managed to score a rematch against them in the Kaua‘i Men’s Soccer Association.
Colleen (she started school, Monday) was at the game since son Trevor is a Kryptonite as is Shane Nishioka-Healy who managed to put up a strong show against the powerful Bulls despite letting three goals get in during the first half.
Over at Vidinha Stadium, Albert Moura (Audrey Bonilla is already figuring out when she’s going to pick him up next) was out enjoying the Sunday game, watching grandson Cody Bonilla handle the outfield, and of course, the sun was feeling really good with all the cold (!!!) nights we’ve been having.
OK, today is the day the KIF boys soccer starts. Kaua‘i coaches Mark Brandeburg and Dennis Chan were at Saturday’s game watching, and Bill Lemke is already anticipating the action when Kaua‘i travels to Kapa‘a. The good thing about this is the KIF boys basketball game is also in Kapa‘a.
