LIHU‘E — The Hawai‘i Warriors men’s basketball team remained unbeaten, improving to 4-0 Friday night with an 83-69 win over the Central Arkansas Bears (1-2) at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Bill Amis and Zane Johnson each led the Warriors with 15 points apiece, while Bo Barnes came off the bench to add 14.

UH outrebounded the Bears 34-25, with Joston Thomas pulling down a game-high nine and also adding 12 points.
Senior co-captain Hiram Thompson came in averaging 18.0 points a game but managed just two points and four assists in 14 minutes of play. Bobby Miles came off the bench to dish out five dimes and score four points.
UH nailed 10 of 19 from three-point range and built up a 46-30 halftime lead, coasting from there.
Carlos Dos Santos led Central Arkansas with 17 points and six rebounds.
Hawai‘i has one more home game before heading out on the road, taking on Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The team will then have back-to-back away contests against Cal-Poly and BYU.
