HSF Kaua‘i event No. 2 at Pine Trees, Saturday
The Hawai‘i Surfing Federation/YMCA Kaua‘i’s second event of the season will take place Saturday at Pine Trees in Hanalei.
Sponsored by Backdoor/Hanalei Surf Company, action will begin at 7:30 a.m. for the one-day only event.
Competitors must be members of HSF Kaua‘i.
Divisions will include Menehune (11 and under), Boys 12-13, Boys 14-15, Junior Men 16-17, Girls 13 and under, Girls 14-15, Girls 16-17, Men 18-24 and 4-A Open.
Girls volleyball tryouts tonight
The Kiakahi Volleyball Club will be holding tryouts tonight for girls ages 14-18 who are interested in participating in youth volleyball.
The tryouts will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kaumakani Neighborhood Center in Kaumakani on the south side.
Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. for all age groups. A $5 fee, along with signed waiver forms will be collected at registration.
