LIHU‘E — In observance of Veteran’s Day, county offices will be closed on Thursday along with all refuse transfer stations, Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center, and the Kaua‘i Resource Center, a county news release states.
In addition, the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools will also be closed for the holiday, along with the Koloa and Kapa‘a HI-5 bottle redemption centers and the HI-5 site at the Kaua’i Resource Center.
Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule.
