The public is invited to a free Swim Clinic in conjunction with Hawai‘i Swimming and USA Swimming at the Kaua‘i High School pool.
During the clinic that will run in conjunction with Mokihana Aquatics’ Time Trials, participants can be trained as officials and learn about the sport of swimming and some of the protocol involved with competitive meets.
The clinics will run from 8 a.m. to noon on both Saturday and Sunday at the Kaua‘i High School pool.
Coach Orlando “O” Anaya of the Mokihana Aquatics said in addition to the Timed Trials and Swim Clinic, the organization is also hosting a Fall Break program involving a Learn to Swim program for infants to young children 12 years old. A swim camp is also planned.
Pre-registration is required for all Mokihana Aquatics program including the free competitive swimming and clinic.
