LIHU‘E — The motorcyclist injured in a crash Friday afternoon in Kapa‘a was in stable condition Monday in the ICU at The Queen’s Medical Center on O‘ahu, according to the Kaua‘i Police Department.
A northbound Chevy sedan driven by a 60-year-old Honolulu woman was turning left into Taco Bell when she crashed into a 33-year-old Hanapepe man who was heading south on a motorcycle, according to a preliminary report.
The motorcyclist was in serious but stable condition Friday afternoon at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, an earlier county news release states.
The woman was also taken to Wilcox, where she was treated and released.
