It was a Kaua‘i sweep in the women’s divisions at the National Scholastic Surfing Association contest No. 2, Saturday at PK’s in Po‘ipu.
Tatiana Weston-Webb, 14, won the Open Women’s contest as the locals dominated the division with Brianna Cope, Mainei Kinimaka, Maluhia Kinimaka and Kiana Fores claiming second through fifth, respectively.
Cope improved to a first-place finish in the Explorer Women’s division, as did Maluhia Kinimaka in the Explorer Girls division.
Shania Weiss took home first-place honors in both the Open and Explorer Longboard divisions.
Dorian Blanchard took third in the Open Junior division, as he was the only Kaua‘i surfer to reach the final.
