The first “Greening American Education” conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the Storybook Theatre in Hanapepe, a news release states.
Guest speakers will include school director Felicia Cowden of Akamai Learning School, Brent Norris of Green Collar Technologies, Susan Cox of Green Power Girl, Ken Stokes of The Kauaian Institute, and Jimmy Trujillo of Kaua‘i Community College.
Teachers, administrators, green educators and vendors, parents and children are invited to attend.
On Wednesday, people can visit a few green sites like the Akamai Learning School in Kapa‘a. This conference is free and open to the public.
