Tickets for the inaugural Ken Oki Memorial Boxing event are now on sale at outlets around the island, said Mark Ozaki, the Kaua‘i Police Activities League coordinator.
The boxing event will be held Feb. 27 at the Kapa‘a High School gym with the doors opening at 5 p.m. and the first matches going at 6 p.m.
“I’d like to invite everyone to our first-ever K-PAL Boxing Tournament on Kaua‘i,” Ozaki said in an e-mail. “There will be about 20 matches on Feb. 27. Most of the matches will feature Kaua‘i boxers against boxers from O‘ahu, Maui and the Big Island.”
Ticket prices are $10 pre-sale, $12 at the door and $20 ringside and can be found at Oki Diner, the K-PAL Boxing Gym in Lihu‘e, Dynamic Tinting in Puhi, Sweet & Sassy in Ele‘ele, the K-PAL Boxing Gym in Hanapepe, Wong’s Restaurant and Kuho’s in Kalaheo.
