LIHU‘E — The Ocean Safety Bureau of the Kaua‘i Fire Department is advising beach goers to be aware of incoming large surf arriving on the north and west facing shores today through the weekend, a county news release states.
Residents and visitors are being urged to swim and snorkel at other lifeguarded beaches that include Po‘ipu, Lydgate and Salt Pond.
For safety purposes, everyone is advised to check in with lifeguards before entering the water.
