The public is invited to a free Movie on the Lawn, Friday at the Aston Kaua‘i Beach at Maka‘iwa starting at 7 p.m.
Barbara Gusman, sales manager at Maka‘iwa, said there will be food being sold from 5:30 p.m. prepared by Chef Rafael Camarillo and the resort’s culinary staff.
Tentative menu offering includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chili and cold drinks.
The Rotary Club of Kapa‘a is co-sponsoring the event that encourages people to take a break from the holidays to enjoy a Disney movie with a holiday theme, Gusman said.
Because the movie is being shown on the ocean lawn of the resorts, people are encouraged to bring their own chairs, but no coolers are allowed.
