LIHU‘E — A familiar face and a woman who failed to appear for her jury trial top the list of the five Most Wanted Kauaians, as provided by the Kaua‘i Police Department.
Shauday Pulelehua Ragudo, 23, is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, is Filipino with hazel eyes and brown hair and tan complexion, with a last known address in Kapa‘a. She is wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court for failure to appear for her jury trial call. Her bail is $40,000.
Akoni Joseph Davis, 20, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds, and in August pleaded no contest to and was found guilty of third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, and was facing up to five years in prison but was sentenced to 30 days in prison with credit for time served.
Davis is on probation for a burglary conviction in which the victim was his grandmother, and vowed to get into a drug-treatment program and “try and change my life,” when he appeared in court.
Fifth Circuit Judge Kathleen Watanabe waived the standard crime victim compensation fee, and told Davis he was getting “a big break” though his plea agreement, and not having his probation revoked.
She said she will remember Davis if he ever appears before her in court again. “I’m not going to forget this break that you’re getting,” said Watanabe, telling Davis to get drug treatment, anger-management treatment, and other tools to keep himself straight.
Davis is now wanted on a bench warrant on a motion for revocation or modification of probation for failure to comply with the court’s orders granted a year ago. His bail is $5,000. His last known address was in Kapa‘a.
Brad Kekuhaupio Kubisch, 23, is 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, and is Native Hawaiian with brown eyes and black hair. He is wanted on one grand jury bench warrant and another bench warrant, for credit-card theft, unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts of attempted theft in the second degree and two counts of theft in the third degree, and violations of conditions of his release on bail. His total bail is $20,000. His last known address was in Lihu‘e.
Shawn Kalin Joseph, 24, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and is white with blue eyes and brown hair, and a last known address in Kilauea. His total bail is $9,300, and he is wanted on a grand jury bench warrant for promoting a detrimental drug in the third degree, operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, consuming or possessing intoxicating liquor while operating a motor vehicle, commercial promotion of marijuana in the second degree, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and promoting a harmful drug in the fourth degree.
Donald Edward Pagelsdorf, 22, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 235 pounds, and is Native Hawaiian with brown eyes and black hair. His last known address is in Kekaha, and he is sometimes known as Donald Edward.
He is wanted on a single grand jury bench warrant for driving without a license, promoting a detrimental drug in the third degree, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and theft in the third degree, with a total bail of $1,250.
