LIHU‘E — In addition to 27 arrests, 33 warrants served and one new case generated, last month’s Operation FALCON resulted in the recovery of four unregistered firearms, ammunition, crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
That is according to county and federal statistics reported in separate press releases.
Arrests were made based on criminal bench warrants and grand jury indictments. Assisting U.S. Marshals in Operation FALCON (Federal And Local Cops Organized Nationally) were Kaua‘i Police Department and state Department of Public Safety Sheriff’s Division officers, all sworn in as special deputy U.S. Marshals prior to the start of the operation, according to the federal release.
The following Kauaians were arrested during the operations, which took place June 1-3:
Joanna Llego, 23, Hanama‘ulu, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Calvin Gonsalves, 36, Kapa‘a, intimidating a witness, second-degree terroristic threatening, violating a protective order;
Catherine Curammeng, 41, Koloa, criminal contempt of court (three counts);
Duane Dawson Jr., 38, Lihu‘e, criminal contempt of court, second-degree assault, prohibited possession or ownership of a firearm and ammunition (three counts), third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Elijah Waiwaiole, 31, Kapa‘a, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Chardonnay Lagmay, 20, Hanama‘ulu, criminal contempt of court;
James Torio, 59, Anahola, first-degree sex assault, fourth-degree sex assault (two counts);
Alexandria Tangalin, 22, Kapa‘a, criminal contempt of court (four counts);
Ian Rowland, 40, Lihu‘e, promoting a controlled substance near a school or public park, tampering with physical evidence, prohibited possession or ownership of a firearm or ammunition, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Reynaldo Abrigo, 39, Lihu‘e, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Aquila Say, 34, Hanalei, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug (two counts), second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, fourth-degree promotion of a harmful drug (two counts), third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Gina Pa, 37, Lihu‘e, promoting a controlled substance near a school or public park, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Kandra Akau, 21, Lihu‘e, second-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle;
Sadie Ann Kunishige, 23, Lihu‘e, second-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle;
Brandon Holasz, 28, ‘Ele‘ele, first-degree assault of a police officer;
Shawn Fajardo, 27, Kapa‘a, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Bernadene Lancaster, 29, Lihu‘e, third-degree theft, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Akoni Davis, 20, Kapa‘a, prohibited ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition, promoting a controlled substance near a school or public park, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Raynette Paea, 41, Hanapepe, third-degree theft, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia;
Bill Bunglick, 25, Lihu‘e, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle (three counts), second-degree theft, third-degree theft;
Rochelle Williams, 24, Anahola, first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree criminal property damage;
Maxine Constantino, 22, Hanama‘ulu, revocation or modification of probation;
Aldo Pironti, 58, Kapa‘a, first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree reckless endangering, fourth-degree criminal property damage;
Alika Luka, 31, Kapa‘a, habitually operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, keeping an unloaded firearm and ammunition in the wrong places to keep such items.
