Mahalo to all of the coaches who help to make TGI Sports what it is! Veronica Nagahisa brought in the scorebook for the Kawaihau Majors championship game since it conflicted with the Mustang Sectionals; Dondi Viquelia and Lihu‘e PONY coach Tommy John Cox both said Lihu‘e won the championship 12-2, Sunday (that one conflicted with “Taste of Hawai‘i”), and coach Sean Andrade said the Kaua‘i Police Activities League flag football program starts this morning at Hanapepe Stadium. Mahalo, coaches!
Hats off to Karen and Steven Matsumoto of the KYBA program who are currently engrossed in their 17 and Under basketball tournament that has its championship game today, too!
With the arrival of summer, Brook Johnson of the G.N. Wilcox Memorial Hospital said the Bone and Joint Center will be hosting a family event this morning at the Hilton Kaua‘i Beach Resort starting at 9 a.m.

Ray Blouin of the Aston Kaua‘i Beach at Maka‘iwa was on hand to greet Raymond Dempsey Thursday, and said he needs to spend some quality time at the Military Museum.
