If you would like to learn about a different form of county government that could be more efficient and less costly, come to a meeting at 6 p.m., Monday, at the War Memorial Convention Hall.
The county manager form of government is presently functioning in 60 percent of all communities across the United States and 80 percent of all California cities, a news release states.
The guest speaker will be David Mora, an experienced county executive, and board member of the International City/County Managers Association.
