Multiple Sclerosis Walk
7:30 a.m. Saturday
Kukui Grove Shopping Center
Multiple Sclerosis means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up or you may suddenly have impaired vision or your memory fails you for no apparent reason. Teams work hard every year fundraising by selling candy, cookbooks or asking for donations. All monies collected are presented to the MS society on the day of the walk. There is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability. Funds collected will support research for a cure and provide programs. Come walk for those who sometimes can’t. For more information e-mail HIH@nmss.org or call Diana Su of MS Hawai‘i at 808-532-0806 or 800-344-4867 option 2.
