Max Agor
Max Agor of Lawa‘i died March 22, 2009, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 18. Born Feb. 26, 1991, in Lihu‘e, he was a student at Waimea High School.
He is survived by girlfriend Taryn Makalea Chow; son Kailer Kaheleikealapono Chow-Agor; parents Bert Sr. and Vicki Agor; brothers Bert Jr. (Christine) of Anaheim, Calif., and Evan Patrick of Lawa‘i; paternal grandmother Esther Agor of Kekaha; maternal grandparents Irvin and Mary Beth Eichenseer of Belleville, Ill.; uncle Bernie Agor of Kekaha; and numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, coaches, teammates and friends.
Visitation 12:30-3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kekaha; Mass at 3:30 p.m. Dinner to follow immediately after Mass at 8051 Ulili St. in Kekaha.
Casual attire is suggested.

Moses Keale
Rev. Moses “Moke” Keale Jr. of Anahola died March 8, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 69. Born Feb. 2, 1940, in Ni‘ihau, he retired as a heavy equipment operator for Gay & Robinson Incorporated.
He was preceded in death by son William Keale; brother Moses Keale Sr.; and sisters Adeline Rivera, Rose Kaliloa and Rebecca Keale.
He is survived by wife Elaine (Petersen) Keale of Anahola; hanai son William Kamala of Anahola; hanai daughters Rhonda (Jeff) Garcia of Lihu‘e and Anaconi Kamala of Kapa‘a; brother Arthur (Dorothy) Keale of Waimea, Joseph (Viola) Kahale of O‘ahu and Arthur (Cissy) Kahale of Koloa; sister Josephine Keale of Waimea; sisters-in-law Dianne L. Keale of Anahola, Frances (Harry) Kamoku of Kapa‘a and Palma Kamala of Kapa‘a; grandchildren Taylor, Kilinoe, Conner Garcia of Lihu‘e; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 9-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Kauai Veterans Center; services at 11 a.m.

John Vogt
John W. Vogt of Kilauea died March 20, 2009, at Queens Hospital in Honolulu at age 89. Born Sept. 3, 1919, in New York, he was an insurance broker.
He was preceded in death by father John A. Vogt and mother Grace Mantz.
He is survived by wife Doria J. Vogt, daughter Claudia Wedel, son-in-law Trey Wedel, granddaughters Anna Wedel and Kate Wedel, and sisters Grace Prusik and Betty Kelley.
Visitation 9-9:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church in Kilauea; eulogy at 9:45 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m.
Flowers should be omitted.

Barbara S. Kaya of Lawa‘i died March 19, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 68. She was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Koloa.
She was preceded in death by parents Wallace Y. and Martha Y. Horita.
She is survived by husband Francis K. Kaya; daughter Tracey (Ric) Ochoco; son Kalen Kaya; grandchildren David Ochoco, Courtney Ochoco, Keenan Kaya, Crysten-Kaori “Ori” Kaya, Thaine Ochoco and Kestle-Lynn “Noe” Kaya; brothers Harvey (Ella) Horita and Michael (Diane) Horita; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation 4 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 4, at Kalaheo Missionary Church; service at 5 p.m.

Eugenio “Killa” Ramos Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu died March 23, 2009, at Queens Hospital at age 78. Born Jan. 19, 1931, in Lihu‘e, he retired as the unloading station journeyman crew chief with Lihue Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by sons Eugene (Grace) Delos Reyes of Lihu‘e, Paul (Imelda) Delos Reyes of ‘Ele‘ele, Patrick Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu and John Delos Reyes of Honolulu; daughters Linda (Jonathan) Delos Reyes-Olores of Kekaha, Cynthia (William Ouye) Delos Reyes of Kapa‘a and Rosey Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers Felipe Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu, Fred (Estelita) Delos Reyes of Hanama‘ulu and Jimmy (Jeanette) Delos Reyes of Honolulu; and numerous auntie’s, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 9-10:30 a.m. during a celebration of his life on Monday, April 6, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall; services at 10:45 a.m.

Edward T. Martin of Lihu‘e died March 24, 2009, at home at age 67. Born May 4, 1941, in Michigan, he was the owner/operator of Kauai Safety Agency.
He is survived by son Edward and daughter Jodi, both of Oregon, grandchildren Erin, Dylan and Rachel, and friends and family.
Visitation 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4,at St. Catherine Church; services at 2 p.m.
Interment of ashes Sunday, April 5.

Isobel Sugawa
Isobel Elaine Sugawa of Koloa died March 22, 2009, at Kauai Veterans Hospital in Waimea at age 79. Born June 4, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa., she was a retired jewelry manager in the fine jewelry industry.
She was preceded in death by John Sincock, parents Harold and Margaret Lininger and brother James Lininger.
She is survived by George Sueoka; Richard Sugawa; daughter Cindy L. Matsumoto of Corralitos, Calif.; sister Janet Hout of Warren, Ohio; grandchildren Ryder M. Matsumoto and Mandy H. Matsumoto, both of Koloa; great-grandchildren Braighden H. Matsumoto-Awakuni and Briaghane Matsumoto-Awakuni, both of Koloa.
A private celebration of life will be held.

Shoichi Igarashi of Lihu‘e died March 18, 2009, at home at age 80. Born Jan. 30, 1929, in Kalaheo, he retired as a plumber with the state of Hawai‘i.
He was preceded in death by sister Yaeko Kimura and brother-in-law Norman Kimura.
He is survived by wife Nobue Igarashi of Lihu‘e; stepchildren Beverly (Mike) Nagano of Lihu‘e, Valerie (Alan) Silva of Lihu‘e, Lana (Manny) Corregedore Jr. of Lihu‘e, Lee (Sherri) Yasutake of Lihu‘e, Daryl (Jacqueline) Yasutake of Kapa‘a, Dewey (Pha) Yasutake of Honolulu, Lisa (Warren) Koga of Lihu‘e; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m on Saturday, April 4, at Lihue Baptist Church with services at 10:30 a.m. The family requests casual attire and graciously declines flowers.
