LIHU‘E — Ballots for the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative’s Board of Directors month-long election are due by 12 p.m. today at the drop boxes outside the co-op’s Lihu‘e office, according to a KIUC spokesperson.
Candidates include: Stewart “Stu” Burley, Milton K. Chung, JoAnne Georgi, Dane K. Oda, Raymond W. Paler, Steve M. Rapozo and Ben Sullivan.
While more than 5,000 ballots have already rolled in, KIUC has not yet begun the counting process.
