The Department of Transportation announced possible traffic delays due to improvement work between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, due to the following ongoing projects:
Kaumualii Highway
• Lawai, east of the Piko Road Intersection, Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Friday, Feb. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work. Completion of this project is anticipated by the end of March 2009.
Kuhio Highway
• In Anahola, near the Pili Mai Ke Kai subdivision between Anahola Road and Kukuihale Road Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Friday, Feb. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail work.Completion of this project is anticipated by the end of January projects 2009:
Waiolo Road
• Single lane closures on Waialo Road in both directions on Tuesday Feb. 17, through Friday Feb. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing and construction of new curb islands. The project is ongoing and anticipated to be complete by the end of May 2009
