Are you smarter than a sixth-, seventh- or eighth-grader? Come and find out at Family Math Night today from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kapaa Middle School.
Ellen Duffy and Sandi Alaux, math consultants with California State University at Fullerton who have worked extensively with middle school students, will provide multiple math stations for parent and child pairs to explore and problem-solve together.
It will be a night for parents to learn what their student knows about math and to explore how computers can help.
Parents will also be offered tips on how to help their child with math at home.
