Kevin Matsunaga and Fred Sasan were doing the political discussion thing at the General Election at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School. Kevin did okay with the smoked turkey legs and Fred said not to microwave those things … check the instructions.

Elizabeth Freeman is already gearing up for Dec. 5, too. She has the Kaua‘i High School Academy of Hospitality and Travel rarin’ to go with their Santa in Hawai‘i theme for the historic County Building light display.

Ken Miyata was lucky there was no school Tuesday. He found some chili pepper near the 17th hole to give to T.J. Kua for good luck, and James Tokioka and Pono were checking out the action, too. Dr. Michael Oride got to reunite with his dorm-mate Eric Okazaki who is the Hawai‘i trainer who came with the team.
OK, ‘nuff said … time to go visit with Johnny Rabasa and check out the Veterans’ Day parade.
And for those who don’t want to mess with the traffic, check out Jackie Kozak and her invasive species people at the free Arbor Day giveaway at the Big Kmart back parking lot … just leave room for the recyclers to get in.
