The victory keeps the Falcons U10 undefeated in the league’s BU10 division while the Sparks, despite the loss in the contest where they exerted strong pressure against the Falcons, lead the league’s GU10 division with a 4-2 record and a dozen points. The Falcon U10 team has a 6-0 record and 18 points.
L.J. Camat netted two goals and Clifton Oliver added a score to lead Team Motiv-8 to a 3-1 edge over the KSC-Blazing Angels that got a goal from Hi‘ilawe Grance to prevent a shutout.
Lokahi, the sole GU11 team in the league, picked up its second season tie with a 2-2 stalemate against the Westside Falcon U12-1 team. That gives the Falcon U12-1 team the lead in the BU12 division after the Westside Falcon U12-2 team suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Hawaiian Heat.
Wailana Gandeza and Kaylee-Taylor Balbarino netted the go-ahead goals for the Heat that improves to second place with a 2-2-1 standing and 7 points in the GU12 division.
The KSC-Blazing Angels, enjoying a weekend bye, lead the GU12 division with a 4-1 record and a dozen points.
Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i was a 9-1 winner over Hawaiian Heat GU14 to retain the lead slot in the GU14 division with a 6-1 record and 18 points while the Heat is still seeking its first season win at 0-5. Pohaku, whose match against Team Onipa‘a was scratched, is 0-2 in the division.
The GIFC BU14 team soared over the Westside Falcons BU14, 8-1 to remain undefeated in division play with a 6-0 record and 18 points.
The loss drops the Falcons BU14 to 1-5 and 3 points, third place in the division below Team Onipa‘a who sport a 3-3 record and 9 points.
Team Motiv-8 BU16 split its double-header, dropping its opener 3-6 to the Westside United, and rebounding to a 10-9 edge over Lokahi in the nightcap.
The loss to Westside United is the Motiv-8 BU16’s first season loss.
Those results give the Westside United a 3-3-1 record and 10 points in the BU15 division while Team Motiv-8 is 7-1 with 21 points in the BU16 division.
